ResReader gives you three paths to populate a job with candidates. Pick the one that matches where the resumes are coming from.
1. Through a link (new applicants)
This is the standard path for new candidates who haven't applied to your job yet.
For every job, ResReader generates a public application link you can share on LinkedIn, your careers page, job boards, or directly with sourced candidates. When someone opens the link, they see a clean apply form — they upload their resume, ResReader analyzes it against the job, and the candidate appears in your pipeline within a minute.
You can create multiple links per job (e.g. one per source, one per campaign) and track which one each candidate came through. Link creation and distribution options live on the Distribute Job screen — open a job and look for the "Share" or "Distribute" action.
Why this matters for the workflow: candidates who arrive through a link have explicitly opted in. ResReader treats them as available by default, so the "Request Availability" step can be skipped.
2. Bulk upload (resumes already on your computer)
Use this when you have a folder of resumes — often from past sourcing or an old ATS export — that you want to evaluate against a specific job.
From the job's analysis page, open the bulk-upload action and drop in PDF/DOCX files. ResReader parses, scores, and ranks them automatically.
Important: these candidates haven't expressed interest in this job yet. ResReader does not assume they're available. You'll need to manually trigger the availability request for each candidate (or in batch) before the workflow moves forward — there's a dedicated button for this on the candidate card. We do this on purpose: the recruiter usually wants to glance at the AI score before deciding whether to actually reach out.
3. Import from another system
If you have candidates in another ATS or recruiting platform and want them migrated over, contact us. Imports go through a manual import path on our side; there is currently no self-serve UI for this.
Reach out via the Contact page with:
- Where the data is coming from (ATS name, export format)
- Which business and job they should land in
- Roughly how many candidates
We'll get back to you with the next steps.
